Europe's largest software company SAP said today it expects sales growth in the first nine months to September 30th to exceed the 23 per cent growth posted in the full year 2000.
First-quarter net profits rose 109 per cent to euro 117 million from euro 56 million in the same period last year.
Analysts say SAP's figures suggest the firm may be benefiting as customers with tighter IT budgets turn away from niche suppliers to its bundled packages.
