Anti-nuclear campaigner Ms Helen John (63) stood against British Prime Minister Mr Tony Blair from a prison cell over Britain supporting President Bush's missile defence plan.
Ms John is serving three months for breaking into a US military base. Ms John received 260 votes and lost her £500 deposit.
"I have grandchildren and I don't think anybody with any intelligence wants to see another generation facing an arms race," she said as she watched the results on television at Askan Grange Open Prison in northern England.
For President Bush's missile defence umbrella to work, satellite stations in northern England would have to be upgraded.
