Ulster have made two changes from the team that beat Cardiff at the weekend to play Llanelli in the Celtic League on Friday.
Tyrone Howe is sidelined with a hamstring injury so Scott Young, a substitute against Cardiff, deputises on the wing.
Adam Larkin steps into the centre to replace Johnathan Bell who has knee ligament trouble.
Ryan Constable is named on the bench having recovered from concussion while Jeremy Davidson is not available for selection.
Connacht make five changes to their side for Friday's clash with Glasgow.
Former Australian international Warwick Waugh returns to a pack which sees two changes in the front row; Dan McFarland starts at lose head and Jerry Flannery at hooker.
Mark McHugh and Chris Keane are fit again and return at centre and scrum-half respectively.
Connacht and Glasgow are already through to the quarter-finals but a draw or better would secure Steph Nel's side a home draw in the last eight.
Connacht, meanwhile, have been drawn away to French side Narbonne in the second round of the Parker Pen Challenge Cup. The first leg will be played over the weekend starting December 6th with the return matches on the weekend of December 13th.
