An Irish senior squad of 44 players for the Six Nations has been called up to attend training at the ALSAA complex on Monday, January 15th.

Previously out-of-favour Victor Costelloe and Paul Burke are named in the squad, as is Eric Miller, who despite suffering a thumb injury while playing against Leinster at the weekend, will travel to the session. The squad also includes uncapped players Johnny O’Connor and Mick O’Driscoll.

James Topping, Matt Mostyn, and Jeremy Staunton were not considered for the training session due to their participation in the Sevens World Cup. Kieron Dawson, Simon Easterby and Emmett Farrell were also not considered because of injury
