Twelve men and two woman have been arrested by police investigating a suspected heroin network in Northern Ireland.
Operation Sturge, which was planned since January, saw more than 120 officers raid 12 locations. Ten houses were searched in Ballymena, Co Antrim, and the arrests were made there.
Properties in Sion Mills, Co Tyrone, and Kilrea, Co Derry, were also targeted.
A police spokesman said a quantity of drugs and cash had been recovered in the raids.
The Drugs Squad's focus was on Ballymena, where up to 600 heroin addicts live. Three people in the town have died from overdoses in the last year alone, the PSNI revealed.
Detectives believe the drugs are being smuggled in from Dublin and British cities.
The operation was the biggest of its type since Operation Galiot in 2002, which led to 14 heroin dealers being charged after searches in Ballymena and south Belfast.
