Two police officers were injured when their car was rammed in Derry in the early hours of this morning.
They had responded to a call at Lenamore Road in the Galliagh district when a Renault Laguna struck their vehicle just after 2am.
A man suspected of driving the second car was arrested for various motoring offences, police said.
The officers and three passengers in the Renault were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Earlier, a group of around 50 youths pelted police with stones and other missiles in north Belfast.
One man was arrested after trouble flared in the Woodvale Road area late last night.
A police vehicle was damaged but no injuries were reported. Order was later restored in the area.
