Police in north Belfast are seeking witnesses following an armed robbery at a commercial premises today.
Two men, one armed with a handgun, entered the building at Duncrue industrial estate shortly after 1pm, the PSNI said.
One of them hit a member of staff over the head and tied him up, demanding access to the safe. He is not believed to have been seriously injured.
The men left the premises with a small amount of cash and also grabbed a large red Hilti toolbox on the way out. It is not known if they left on foot or whether they had a vehicle.
Police have asked anyone who witnessed the robbery, anyone who may know how the men made their escape, or anyone who may have seen two men in the area with a large red toolbox, to call them at Antrim Road police station, or to call the Crimestoppers charity at 0800 555111.
Separately, police at Antrim Road are seeking witnesses after a man robbed an ice cream shop in the Atlantic Avenue area.
Shortly after 7pm, a man believed to be in his early 20s and wearing a black coat entered the shop and threatened staff with a serrated breadknife, police said.
He made off with a sum of money and headed in the direction of the old bakery.
