LONDON - The British public is strongly against the Prince of Wales marrying Ms Camilla Parker Bowles, according to two newspaper polls yesterday. Readers of the Sun and the Daily Mirror gave the thumbs down to such a marriage.
The Sun said it was staggered by the response to the Bank Holiday telephone poll with 37,964 people against a wedding and 7,954 for. A massive 88 per cent of readers who responded to the Mirror telephone poll said the couple should not marry.
