Gardai in Roscommon have finished questioning two men in relation to the murder of 81-year-old Co Galway widow, Mrs Nancy Nolan. The two men, aged 68 and 36, were detained at Roscommon Garda Station on Monday under section 4 of the 1984 Criminal Justice Act.
The 68-year-old arrested in Ballygar, Co Galway, was released on Monday night, and the second man was returned to Castlerea Prison where he is serving a sentence.
Mrs Nolan was found dead inside the front door of her home at Ballaghlea, near Ballygar on the Galway-Roscommon border, last month.
