Ireland play the USA in another autumn rugby international at Lansdowne Road at 1 p.m. tomorrow and motorists should plan for delays around Ballsbridge before and after the match.

Again, Iarnród Éireann has laid on a special train from Limerick to Heuston station for the match. The train will leave Limerick at 7.50 a.m., arriving in Dublin at 10.05 a.m. Trains return to Limerick at 4.05 p.m. and 5.10 p.m., arriving in Limerick at 7 p.m. and 7.15 p.m., respectively.

Due to the €176 million Dart improvement works taking place on the northern section of the Dart line on Saturdays and Sundays, there will be no nortbound trains from Pearse to Howth and Malahide. Southbound Dart services operate between Pearse Station and Bray/Greystones.

Ballsbridge will also attract extra traffic due to the 7Up Christmas on Ice event which opens at the RDS today and runs until January 9th.

Racing at Naas on Saturday and at Navan on Sunday will also attract high volumes of traffic.

Bus Éireann is running special services from Dublin to the Naas races tomorrow. Buses will leave Busáras 90 minutes before the start of the first race, returning to the city immediately after the last race.

Tickets cost €13 return and must be booked in advance at Busáras or at the Bus Éireann ticket desk at 59 Upper O'Connell Street.

Similar arrangements apply to special buses for the Navan race meeting at Proudstown on Sunday.

Dublin Bus advises its customers that from next Monday, November 22nd, routes 15D and 77B will be cancelled. Customers on the 7.50 a.m. route 15D from Limekiln Avenue and the return trip at 5.20 p.m. from College Street will now be accommodated on routes 15A and 150.

Customers who use the 7.35 a.m. 77B service will be accommodated on the number 77 bus to Westmoreland Street.

In rail travel, track improvement works on the Cork to Cobh line this week may cause delays of up to 30 minutes until they are completed this evening.

HGV drivers using the Saggart/Rathcoole interchange on the Naas Road should note there is a 7.5-tonne weight and a 2.3-metre height restriction on the bridge while repair works are being carried out to the steel decking.

In Cork, resurfacing works will continue on the dual carriageway at the roundabout on the Cork side of Midleton until this evening.

Roadworks just north of Ashbourne, Co Meath on the N2, will also affect traffic. A stop-go system is ensuring delays of up to 20 minutes for motorists driving through the village from both sides.
