Racing: Today's racing at Downpatrick goes ahead as scheduled after the track passed a precautionary inspection this morning.
Officials elected to assess the state of the course after experiencing heavy rain but are satisfied by current conditions.
Cliff Noone of the Irish Turf Club confirmed: Racing goes ahead at Downpatrick as scheduled after the course passed a precautionary inspection at 7.30am this morning.
"The going is soft to heavy and heavy in places."
