Radio listenership statistics covering July 2002 to July 2003 will be released later today.
The Joint National Listenership Research (JNLR) survey results are expected to reveal whether stations licensed in the last year have made any progress in the highly competitive market over the past year.
The survey results are likely to influence the futures of several stations.
The figures will be of particular interest for the smaller independent stations, such as the Dublin-based talk radio station NewsTalk, FM 104, Today FM, Spin 1038 and Dublin's Country 106.8.

The JNLR survey will also indicate whether RTÉ has managed to arrest a downward slide in its listenership figures.
