Glasgow Rangers are preparing a bid for Inter Milan defender Matteo Ferrari, said the player's agent.
The 21-year-old is set to quit Inter in the summer after a disappointing season in which he found his first team chances increasingly limited.
Agent Mauro Gasperini said: "I have been informed that Glasgow Rangers intend to make an offer to Inter for Ferrari.
"Ferrari will leave Inter in the summer. Rangers, however, are just one of three clubs which are particularly interested.

"We will sit down at the end of the season and decide on which is the best offer made to us.
Spurs and Fiorentina are also said to be interested.
