A male friend of an alleged rape victim has claimed that the accused man told him she was "a slut and wanted it" and that she raped him.

He told Mr Denis Vaughan Buckley SC, prosecuting, in the Central Criminal Court, that the alleged victim then started screaming in fury and begged the "lads" to take her away.

Another member of the alleged victim's party recounted seeing the accused man on top of her. He then saw the accused run away and when he later asked why he ran, he kept repeating: "I've done nothing. I've done nothing."

He said he and a friend then escorted the accused back to the scene, where the accused threw coins at the alleged victim, shouting, "You whore."
