Dublin Airport has served, more than one million passengers in a single month for the first time, according to results released by Aer Rianta. The latest figures surpass the previous busiest month last August by 75,000.
Transatlantic traffic has been boosted this summer following the introduction of new services to the US and this resulted in a 17 per cent rise in business during July, according to Aer Rianta. A further four million passengers are expected to use the airport by the end of this year.
