WITH CHRISTMAS ending today, thousands of Christmas trees will be taken to recycling centres in the coming days.
Repak reckons each household generated about 80,000 tonnes of used packaging over Christmas. It aims to collect and recycle 45 per cent of this.
The www.repak.ie website gives details of all council facilities where Christmas trees are accepted for recycling.
