A decision on whether Mr George Redmond, the former assistant Dublin City and County Manager charged with corruption, is to be sent forward for trial was adjourned again yesterday.
Mr Redmond (76), College Gate, Castleknock, Co Dublin, faces charges under the Prevention of Corruption Acts, 1906 and 1916, and under the Public Bodies Corrupt Practices Act, 1889, that he allegedly accepted bribes while head of Dublin County Council in the 1980s.
In Dublin District Court yesterday, Mr Redmond's solicitor, Mr Anthony Harris, sought a further adjournment of the preliminary examination stage.
Judge Early remanded Mr Redmond on continuing bail to November 9th.
