The last remaining passengers affected by the delayal of flights due to fog at Dublin airport last Friday are expected to depart this morning.
The affected passengers are those holidaymakers on chartered flights, and they are currently engaged in a second night of waiting at the airport. One flight in particular had been delayed by 36 hours.
Most of those delayed on Friday had departed the airport by yesterday evening, and Aer Rianta has confirmed that the main backlog has now been cleared. It is expected that all the delayed flights will have cleared the airport by early tomorrow morning.
Aer Rianta is advising passengers to contact their airline before coming to the Airport.
