An order restraining a group of eight Travellers from trespassing on lands in the Enniscorthy Industrial Estate in Co Wexford was issued by the High Court yesterday.
The interim order granted to the Industrial Development Authority restrains the Travellers from remaining on the lands or from residing, camping, parking caravans or vehicles on all other lands, industrial estates or business parks in Co Wexford belonging to the IDA.
In an affidavit handed into Miss Justice Carroll, Mr Barry Fannin, legal executive with the IDA, said it was receiving complaints from companies based on the estate and this trespass was undermining the IDA's credibility and reputation.
Miss Justice Carroll granted the order and returned the matter to next Monday.
