Senator Kate Walsh, Progressive Democrats, 2,006.

The votes of Mr Browne and Mr O'Coistin, will now be distributed among the remaining six candidates for the seat.

Senator Kate Walsh (Progressive Democrats) 2,023, eliminated.

Both Mr Power and Senator Walsh have been eliminated from the election at this point. Their votes will be transferred to the remaining four candidates.

Catherine Murphy, Independent, 7,176.
Dan Scully, Fine Gael, 5,382.

The Labour Party's Paddy McNamara was eliminated at the end of count three. His votes will now be distributed among the remaining three candidates.

Áine Brady, Fianna Fáil, 8,133.
Catherine Murphy, Independent, 8,809.
Darren Scully, Fine Gael, 7,421, eliminated.

Darren Scully has been eliminated from the race for the single seat in Kildare North.

The final result in the byelection for the Kildare North constiuency: 

Catherine Murphy, Independent candidate electedwithout reaching the full quota of 12,657 votes. Mrs Murphy secured 12,256 votes following five counts.

Dominic Hannigan (Lab): 5,567;
Sirena Campbell (PD): 2,679;
Fergal O'Byrne (GP): 1,590;
Liam O Gogain (NP): 702.

Liam Ó Gogáin is eliminated. His votes are distributed among the remaining six candidates.
