A "substantial cash reward" has been offered by the Crimestoppers confidential telephone line for information on three gangland-style murders in Dublin last month.
Gavin Byrne (30) and Darren Geoghegan (26) were shot dead in a car in Firhouse on the November 13th and Noel Roche (27) was shot dead on the Clontarf Road two days later on Tuesday the November 15th.
"Crimestoppers is offering a substantial cash reward for information relating to the circumstances around the fatal shootings of these three men," a statement released this morning said.
Anyone who has information can call the service free on 1800 25 00 25.
The service is to distribute thousands of leaflets to houses in Dublin this week. Gardai will also be handing out the leaflets in Crumlin Shopping Centre, Crumlin Rd, Dublin 12 at noon today.
"We are asking the community to support the Gardai in their inquiries into the brutal killings of these three young men," Chief Superintendent, Pat Brehony said:.
"I am satisfied that there are people who have valuable information about the shootings, the vehicles used and the planning and organising needed to carry out the killings."
Crimestoppers sponsors are the Department of Justice, Dublin Bus, Ulster Bank, the Vintners' Federation of Ireland, Irish Rail, An Post, Ladbrokes and Dublin City Council.
