Cycling: Ireland's Nicolas Roche moved up to fifth in the overall standings after finishing eighth in today's 16th stage of the Tour of Spain from Gijon to Cotobello.
The Irish rider crossed the line one minute 44 seconds behind Spain’s Mikel Nieve, in the 181.4 kilometre stage.
Fellow Spaniard Joaquin Rodriguez regained the overall lead ahead of tomorrow's rest day.
The Vuelta resumes on Wednesday with a 46 kilometre individual time trial in Penafiel. The 21st and final stage concludes in Madrid on Sunday.
