AS Roma coach Fabio Capello has urged Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier to quit soccer after the Frenchman underwent emergency heart surgery last month.
"If he was a friend of mine I would tell him to quit after recovering. It would be better for him," Capello was quoted as saying in The Mirrornewspaper today.
"If he does not quit the game I would advise him to at least stay away from it for a very long time."
Capello, whose Roma team shared a goalless draw with a Liverpool side commanded by Houllier's deputy Phil Thompson in the Champions League on Wednesday, said: "It is a very stressful job.
