Blackburn have dismissed suggestions they are about to sell midfielder Damien Duff.
The Republic of Ireland international has attracted interest from a number of clubs, both at home and in Europe, following his displays for Rovers and at the World Cup finals in the summer.
With the transfer window now open again, speculation over the 23-year-old's future has started.
A statement on the club's official website, www.rovers.co.uk, read: "Regarding Damien, we have had no contact with Inter Milan or any other club for that matter".
Blackburn, 10th in the Barclaycard Premiership and in the semi-finals of the Worthington Cup, have confirmed there has been interest in fringe players John Curtis and Alan Mahon, with Ipswich reported to be tracking former Manchester United trainee Curtis.
