The RUC in north Belfast is searching for four men after a post office and an insurance firm were robbed in separate incidents in the space of a halfhour yesterday morning.
Antrim Road post office was held up by one man who made off with a sum of money at 9 a.m. The raider, who was described as in his early 20s, fled down Charnwood Avenue to the Cavehill Road and Kansas Avenue.
The RUC is seeking information about a grey Vauxhall Omega and a gold-coloured Rover which were seen in the area at the time.
In Newtownabbey, three men wearing white boiler suits and white dust masks raided an insurance office off Abbot's Cross at about 9.30 a.m. They fled in a white Skoda Rapide car.
