The RUC are investigating a possible link between a stolen motorbike uncovered at Tardrey forest in Antrim last night and the murder of catholic teenager, Ciaran Cummings.
The police completed a search of the forest earlier today and uncovered a quantity of ammunition in the vicinity. The stash included a selection of pistols and rifles, a smoke grenade and a flare.
Earlier this morning, twopetrol bombs were thrown at a house in Strandtown in Belfast. The bombs shattered two windows including a bedroom window where a twelve year old girl was sleeping. No one was injured in the attack.
Meanwhile, a 24-year-old man is recovering in hospital after he was shot in the leg in Portadown early this morning.
The shooting happened at around 1.30 a.m. in Princess Street, Portadown, Co Armagh.
