Moscow - Russia's Foreign Ministry said yesterday that it was asking three Bulgarian diplomats to leave the country, two days after Bulgarian authorities took a similar measure.
A Foreign Ministry statement said the three diplomats had been "engaged in activities incompatible with their diplomatic status", a standard diplomatic phrase for spying.
"Moscow is surprised and concerned to observe an unfolding new anti-Russian campaign in Sofia, including the participation of government members," the statement said. --(Reuters)
