A couple who fled Russia in fear for their lives have been granted leave of the High Court to challenge the decision of Minister for Justice, Mrs Owens, to deport them.
Judge Peter Kelly also granted the couple an injunction restraining the Minister from taking any steps to detain or deport them until April 7th whea the matter comes before the court again.
On the application of Mr Gerry Durcan SC, Judge Kelly requested the media not to divulge any details which might lead to the identification of the couple.
