Magners League:Leinster have made just one change to the side that lost to Toulouse last weekend ahead of the visit of Edinburgh to the RDS on Sunday (6.15pm). Shane Jennings, who rolled his ankle during the Heineken Cup semi-final defeat, makes way for Dominic Ryan at openside flanker.
It will be the former Gonzaga College player's third appearance in a senior jersey.
The backline remains the same, meaning Jonthan Sexton has been given more time to recover from his jaw injury and Shaun Berne starts, once again, outside Eoin Reddan.
An overpopulated bench to be reduced closer to kick-off, includes Seán O’Brien and Girvan Dempsey, who this week announced he would retire at the end of the season.
O’Brien’s return is a bonus for Michael Cheika but there’s bad news on Bernard Jackman, whose knee injury looks to have ended his season.
Edinburgh must take a bonus point from the game if they are to have any hope of sneaking fourth place in the league, but Leinster are driven by the desire to secure a home semi-final, a luxury denied to them in the Heineken Cup.
