A Ryanair charter flight from Faroe, Portugal, to Dublin was diverted this afternoon, following a suspected bomb scare.
Flight number FR7055 was due to arrive in Dublin at 2.50 p.m. but was diverted to Santiago in Northern Spain after a warning was received that there was a bomb on board.
A Ryanair spokesman told ireland.comtheaircraft was "thoroughly checked" by the local bomb squad and found to be clear.
The 187 passengers were then allowed to re-board the flight, which landed safely in Dublin at 10.04 p.m.
