No-frills airline Ryanair said today it was exercising options for five Boeing 737-800 aircraft in an order worth €236.4 million.
"The Boeing 737-800 has the best technical reliability and insures that Ryanair is the number one on-time major airline in Europe," said Ryanair chief executive Michael O'Leary.
Ryanair, which in February ordered 70 Boeing 737-800 aircraft and took options to buy 70 more, said the planes were due to be delivered in early 2007.
