A Ryanair plane made an emergency landing at Dublin airport today after smoke was reported in the cabin.
Ryanair flight FR 506 from Dublin to Bristol turned around and returned to Dublin, shortly after a 12.50 p.m. takeoff. One hundred and twenty passengers and five crew members left the Boeing 737-200 using the emergency chutes.
No fire was detected on board the plane, but a Ryanair spokesman said it had been removed from service for a full technical inspection.
The spokesman said passengers and crew were bussed back to the terminal building. A replacement aircraft was expected to leave for Bristol at 2.15 p.m.
