Ulster SFC; Donegal 0-12 Antrim 1-10:Antrim have caused the shock of the championship so far by beating Donegal in Ballybofey and setting up an Ulster semi-final meeting with Cavan. Tomás McCann's 57th minute goal proved crucial for the Saffrons' one-point victory.
McCann also pointed twice for Antrime, while Donegal contributed to their own downfall by kicking a total of 18 wides.
Four points from teenager Michael Murphy contributed to a one-point lead (0-06 to 0-05) for Donegal at the break, but they never broke loose after the interval as Antrim took their chances for a first win in Ballybofey since 1970.
Liam Bradley’s first Championship match as Antrim manager began with points from Aidan Gallagher and Paddy Cunningham.
Goalkeeper Seán McGreevey was then replaced by Peter Graham after sustaining an injury while saving Conal Dunne’s effort.
Murphy then found his range and Rory Kavanagh grabbed two for a lead at the break .
Cunningham, Kevin Brady and McCann helped Antrim get back in front, before the latter followed up his own saved shot and made no mistake second time round.
Christy Toye and Colm McFadden endeavoured to drag the homeside back into the tie and almost succeeded, until Kevin O’Boyle’s long range effort sealed a memorable win for Antrim.
