World champion Michael Schumacher eased to victory in the San Marino Formula One Grand Prix today, leading home a Ferrari one-two for his third victory of the season.
After starting on pole and reaching the first corner in front, the German never looked like being beaten, eventually winning his 56th Grand Prix by more than 17 seconds.
His team mate Rubens Barrichello - who started second on the grid - was beaten to the first corner by Ralf Schumacher in the Williams, but two good pit stops helped the Brazilian grab second place for his first finish, and points, of the season.
Ralf finished third ahead of his Colombian team mate Juan Pablo Montoya, who had a disappointing race. Britain's Jenson Button was fifth ahead of McLaren's David Coulthard who was lapped by the race winner.
Both Jordans retired early in the race.
