Formula One:Under pressure Toyota driver Ralf Schumacher insisted it was business as usual heading into today's practice for the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal.
Schumacher's future with the Formula One team has been the subject of speculation following a miserable start to the 2007 season, a situation that intensified following his 16th place finish at Monaco.
The German has collected just one drivers world championship point this season after recording an eighth place finish in the opening round in Australia.
"I think there is a lot of talk due to the results I've had recently and I think that's only normal but you don't need to worry about me," said Schumacher.
Reports in the German media suggested 31-year-old had been given just two races to prove his worth and that Spyker driver Adrian Sutil was in line to take over the drive.
But Schumacher said: "You should know that not everything you read is quite true, that's the way it is.
"At the moment we are simply concentrating on getting some results. Neither myself nor the team has been brilliant so far and that is what we are concentrating on. Nothing else has been discussed anyway."
Schumacher did admit that the Toyota camp was unsure how competitive the team would be going into Sunday's race.
"Recently we have been up and down with the pace. Myself, I have been struggling a little bit but we will see," he added.
"The competition is very tough, teams have made progress, like Honda, Renault, Red Bull, so particularly in the area where we fight for points it has become very tight.
"It's difficult to tell what to expect because we don't really know where we are at the moment. We can, if everything runs well, fight with the teams I just mentioned but we have to wait and see."
