Top seeds Scotland continued their winning run over Ireland with a seven-wicket victory in their World Cup qualifying Super League clash in Toronto.

A second-wicket stand of 114 in 25.5 overs between opener Douglas Lockhart and wicketkeeper Colin Smith paved the way for the tournament favourites to cruise to victory.

They took just 42 overs to reach their target of 175.

The Netherlands also booked a place in the last four following their 41-run win over Denmark. The Dutch were all out for 174 in 48.5 overs but managed to dismiss the Danes for 133 in 46 overs.
