The search is continuing today for a man missing off the coast of Wexford since Sunday evening.
Ron O'Connor from Kilmore Quay, Co Wexford, was reported missing early on Monday morning after failing to return home from a fishing trip the previous day.
Mr O'Connor's boat was recovered yesterday evening a few hundred yards from the shoreline by the local lifeboat.
Mr O'Connor, who is in his 40s, had gone on a fishing expedition with his brother on Sunday evening. His brother returned home, but Mr O'Connor decided to go back to sea to continue fishing.
When the alarm was raised the next morning a search of the local coastline was carried out.
A coastguard spokesman said the search started at 5.30am and will continue all day today, intensifying during low tide at around 3pm. Lifeboats from Kilmore Quay, and Rosslare and a navy helicopter are involved in the search.
