A Dublin man charged with the murder of Co Tipperary cattle dealer, Mr Danny Fanning, last February has been returned for trial to the next sitting of the Central Criminal Court in Dublin. Mr Ivor Sweetman (46), of Jobstown, Tallaght, was returned for trial at Clonmel District Court yesterday where he appeared before Judge Michael Pattwell.
Mr Sweetman is pleading not guilty to murdering 73 year old Mr Fanning. The High Court has set bail at £5,000 with a surety of £10,000.
Mr Francis Palmer (24) has already been returned for trial charged with Mr Fanning's murder.
