SECURITY was tight along the Border yesterday for a visit to the Republic by the Rev Ian Paisley, who attended a service at a Free Presbyterian church at Corragarry near Clones, Co Monaghan.
The church is the only Free Presbyterian one in the Republic. Armed detectives were deployed with uniformed gardai to provide an escort for Dr Paisley from the Border to Corragarry, three miles from Clones.
