GAA Fixtures: The GAA's Central Competition Control Committee today confirmed Semple Stadium in Thurles will be used as the host venue for the All-Ireland SHC quarter finals next Sunday.
Wexford and Waterford will be the first quarter-final at 2pm and will be followed by the all-Munster encounter between Cork and Clare at 4pm.
Croke Park will be unavailable this weekend due to treatment works on the pitch, which got under way immediately after Dublin beat Wexford to land their fourth Leinster SFC title in a row yesterday.
The Ulster SFC replay between Armagh and Fermanagh will take place this Sunday at Clones with throw-in at 3pm.
Round two of the football qualifiers gets under way with most of the matches taking place this Saturday. Tyrone host Westmeath in the first of the day's matches in Omagh at 3.00pm.
Donegal then take on Monaghan at 5pm in Ballybofey, while Limerick versus Kildare at the Gaelic Grounds and Laois v Down at O'Moore Park are both 7pm throw-ins.
