The All-Ireland hurling championship qualifier between Offaly and Waterford will be followed by Cork versus Galway as part of a double-header at Semple Stadium this Saturday.
The GAA confirmed the fixtures this afternoon after the draws were made for the quarter-finals of the Christy Ring Cup and the Nicky Rackard Cup by the Central Competitions Control Committee.
Offaly will take on Waterford in Thurles at 5pm, while the game will be immediately followed by a 7pm throw-in for the Cork's meting with Galway.
On Saturday in the Christy Ring Cup, there will be an Ulster derby between Down and Derry in Newry, while Kildare will meet Westmeath in Newbridge, Kerry play Carlow in Tralee and Mayo face Wicklow in Aughrim.
Saturday's Nicky Rackard Cup fixtures see Monaghan take on neighbours Cavan in Clones, while Fingal face Leitrim in Parnell Park, Sligo meet Tyrone in Casement Park and Non Ards face Louth in Newry.
All ties will go to extra-time if necessary.
