Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica has said his government is not in touch with fugitive Bosnian Serb war crimes suspect Ratko Mladic and was not negotiating his surrender.
He told a news conference with European Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn that “half-truths and manipulations” in the media were hampering Serbian efforts to locate the former Bosnian Serb military commander and bring him to justice.
"We are aware of our obligations when it comes to the case of Ratko Mladic and are working on locating him, but anyway at this moment I can for sure tell you that the Serbian authorities are not in touch with him and we are not negotiating with him," he said.
