Hundreds of people have attended a service in south Armagh to commemorate five Orangemen killed by the IRA 25 years ago, writes Paul Tanney. The massacre at the Tully vallen Orange hall took place on September 2nd, 1975.

IRA gunmen burst into the hall during the monthly meeting of the local Orange lodge, shooting some of the victims while they knelt in prayer. The order's Grand Master, Mr Robert Saulters, comforted the victims' relatives during the service.

The Ulster Unionist MLA for the area, Mr Danny Kennedy, a member of the Tullyvallen Silver Band, also attended. He said: "In many ways the families are only now unlocking their grief and the memorial service is a part of that."
