Watch face
Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone’s bludgeoned face features in a new advert for a Swiss watch company after he was mugged for his own watch last month.
The 80-year-old was robbed by four people in London, who also stole jewellery worth £200,000.
The idea for the advert came from Ecclestone himself, who sent it to the company with the hope that it would serve as a protest against violence.
The ad’s tag line simply reads: “See what people will do for a Hublot.”

Fly catchers
Scientists have rediscovered one of the world's most unusual flies in Kenya, making it the first Terrible Hairy Fly(Mormotomyia hirsuta) specimen since 1948.
Unable to fly, the centimetre-long insect is believed to live exclusively in the bat-filled cleft of a 20m-high rock in an area near Nairobi.
It was located after a long hunt by the International Centre of Insect hysiology and Ecology.
At least half a dozen expeditions are known to have visited the cleft to locate it again.
