Seven people were killed today in an explosion at a warehouse containing machinery and fuel in the central Spanish city of Burgos.
"At the moment three people have been evacuated, two are being resuscitated and seven are dead," Burgos mayor Juan Carlos Aparicio told Spanish state radio.
"The place in question was being used as a store for machinery and fuel for a construction company that was working on a cycle lane," he added.
The regional emergency services said first aid and fire services had been called to the scene. It gave no details on the condition of the injured.
