THE Armagh Crown Court jury hearing sex abuse allegations against a 53-year-old parish priest was sent home yesterday - the fifth day of the case - and told not to return until Monday.
This is the third time since the trial of Father Edward Kilpatrick, of Murlough, in Co Donegal, began that jurors have been given time off because of legal technicalities.
Father Kilpatrick, a former secretary to the now retired Bishop of Derry, Dr Edward Daly, is denying 19 charges of gross indecency and indecent assault.
