Unofficial action by air traffic controllers at Shannon Airport this evening is to result in flight delays for passengers.
The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA)has confirmed that no air traffic controllers will be working between 7pm and 9pm with the result that no flights can land or take-off.
Four flights had been due to depart between 7pm and 9pm and three were due to arrive. Intending passengers are being advised to contact their airlines.
The IAA and air traffic controllers are in dispute over staffing numbers and overtime.
