London - Former secret agent Mr David Shayler last night celebrated his return to Britain with a party in a favourite haunt of spies.
The former MI5 information officer greeted friends, family and supporters in the Barley Mow pub in Horseferry Road, central London, a local for many secret service officers. Mr Shayler (34) was joined by his girlfriend, Ms Annie Machon, and lawyer, Mr John Wadham, director of civil rights group Liberty, a day after he was charged with two offences of breaking the Official Secrets Act.
