Shelbourne and Shamrock Rovers have both added to their squads ahead of today's transfer deadline.
Shel's signed Jamie Harris from league leaders St Patrick's Athletic. The Welshman, who previously played for Bohemians, can play at centre half but is primarily a striker.
Rover's, meanwhile, have brought in three new players in a bid to boost their current seventh place in the league. Manager Liam Buckley signed Gary Haylock from Dundalk while Trevor Croly arrives from St Pat's.
Buckley's third signing is current Moroccan international Samir Boughanem. Boughanem has played for French side St Etienne, Swiss outfit Neuchatel Xamax and Racing de Ferrol in Spain.
The race is now on to see if Boughanem can get clearance in time to play in the Dublin Derby against Boh's at Richmond Park tomorrow night.
