Taber, Canada - Police have identified the teenager killed when a 14-year-old boy opened fire in an Alberta high school on Wednesday. Jason Lang (17) died at a hospital in nearby Lethbridge. Another 17-year-old was wounded in the shooting. Police said that they still did not know the motive. Taber is a small rural community 200km (160 miles) southeast of Calgary.
The name of the killer was not released because he is a minor.
The boy, described as a former pupil who had been expelled from the school, was arrested by a school employee who was also a member of the local police force, police said.
